Patrica Loertscher: Savannah school of art and design in Georgia is amazing. The entire town is about the art. Even the airport has student art up. They have programs to send students to Europe for a couple of years. All kinds of local galleries sell the work and they have some great instructors. what you generally don't learn in art school is how to make money at your craft. I suggest you download the book "The mystery of Making it" by Jack White. (www.jackwhiteartist.com) as it lays out the best way to actually earn a living painting. Also, check out Art Licensing. Learn as much as you can about that as this is the venue wh! ere artists can make millions of dollars over their lifetimes and is one of the best kept secrets in the industry....Show more
