Imogene Neiswander: I have a recipe book published by American Rabbit Breeders Association and most of these recipes for domestic rabbit are versions of chicken recipes. Rabbit is leaner than chicken so depending on cooking method take care not to dry it out. BBQ best wrapped in bacon and cooked by indirect heat.
Leora Klingelhoets: Any recipe for chicken will do.Rabbit has the same taste as chicken .. it's just a little firmer.Rabbit stew is very very good.
Abby Herwood: It's really good BBQ'ed if it's a farm raised rabbit. Wild rabbits tend to be tough and gamey so a stew might work better in that case.
Luis Mellon: Dangit, my dad used to have a stellar recipe he created using rabbit. I have not been able to find his family cookbook but I know it had ! lemon and orange peel, raisins, brandy, onion, garlic, dang, I can't remember what else. He did hunt wild rabbit so he marinated it first to break down the tough connective tissues so that it was edible. I seem to remember having this recipe in his handwriting. I will deffo post if I find it - it was amazing!...Show more
Myesha Zerbe: I think you can use most recipes for chicken I see eHow has some recipeshttp://www.wikihow.com/Cook-Rabbit
Garrett Detone: Use any recipe for chicken or pork tenderloin. Like white meat chicken and pork tenderloin rabbit is very lean and can become dry.
