Alexis Reyer: You seem to be the exception to the norm....The wife just emailed this to me yesterday. Apparently it's the congeners that get people. Some say the sulfites in wine cause hangovers. Why fight it though, red wine is great. I get hangovers, but only because I drink too much and too late into the night....Show more
Dionna Doyel: The age to enter a bar is 18. If you want you can even sit at the bar legally. The only restrictions that take place are the ones set by the establishment. They can set the age limit on the bar and even set an age limit for being in the establishment completely. The last place I worked anyone could come in and be any where, but we "X"'d there hands. Then at the bar I go to most often it is strictly 21 to enter. Best advice would be to check with the bar itself because it is all up to them in Ohio.As far as having a guardian buy you alcohol I believe they can legally, but once again it is left to the discretion of the bar. The la! st place I worked it was "our" policy to not allow it. State law says if a drink is given to an underage person by there guardian they must remain in arms length the entire time....Show more
Jude Kennelly: I have no juice or soda just water and sugar and tea.
Hans Sachetti: Who cares, Just keep drinking wine, Seems like your drink....
Coleman Deliberato: If you drink that much and then stop, it's very possible. The human body is funny that way. It's like an addiction, it takes serious anxiety to change a process that the body regards as the normality.
Florencia Manolakis: Because life is good.
Emilie Santmyer: Withdrawal depends on how much you usually drink. Flushing is usually not a symptom of withdrawal.
Rose Krouse: I have been drinking beer every night for the past 2 or so years. today i didn't.and my face got real hot. is that a symptom from not drinking?
Nikita Schroepfer: really depends on the location, most places will allo! w you in but my mark your hand. Case in point Buffalo Wild Wi! ngs, on most nights there is no ID check but on a UFC fight night unless you are with a parent or adult they turn under 21 away
Avis Brantner: try Boone's Farm - you'll get the HO from hell....
Stephnie Patout: That happens to me! Have you ever noticed the differences in drunk between liquor and wine though? Liquor makes you a little bit loose and crazy while wine just makes you calm and feel sophisticated. Be careful though! Too much wine one day will cause the worst headache when you wake up the next morning!
Zelma Casebier: No. Even if it is technically allowed by the law, which I highly doubt, the bar is not going to do it. In most states, of which I believe Ohio is one, it is legal for you to drink under 21 in your home with your parents' consent but not anywhere else. I know that some states have laws worded like the one you cited that suggest you can drink if your parent is present, but even if this is the case it is extremely unlikely that a bar is! going to serve you. When I grew up in CT, they had a law on the books that said it was legal for me to drink under 21 at restaurants with my parents as long as they poured it for me. Some restaurants let me but others refused even when my parents explained the law. Most find it hard to believe. I believe they have since gotten rid of the law. Anyway, the point is that bars are going to play it safe. They are not the moral police - most of them couldn't care less about you drinking but if they get in trouble for serving someone who is underage they are going to get heavily fined and could very well have their liquor license suspended or revoked. Their enforcement of the drinking age is 100% for the purpose of protecting their business from liability. Your dad saying he is OK with it is not even nearly enough to make them comfortable serving alcohol to somebody who they know to be under 21. Think about it. If you owned a bar and even 1 beer served to someone who is underage ! could jeopardize your entirely livelihood, would you risk it?...Show mo! re
Derick Kinnard: I don't know but some cases its different on what people drink. Now if i drink champagne i can't drink more than too because I can get a HO. Now with Wine its like it calms me for some reason and then i get really tired and just want to go to bed. And for whiskey, rum, vodka, tequila i get kinda crazy. And it all depends on how much you drink also.
Serita Hefferon: Well i matters, if you have ice cream, milk, sugar, and a blender, and sometimes chocolate syrup and ice, you can make a milkshake.
Nikita Schroepfer: its funny how each person reacts differently to different alchohals...... i am russian and get wasted off one shot of grat goose....but for example i dan take 20 shots of wiskey....somthing i discovered recelty and no problem....your body is just reacting diffrently .....but still remember can have tooooo much because a headache will come sooner or later
Julieta Suleiman: The law states that you may enter a bar after ! your 18th birthday. There is a little known fact that the law does not include the day of your 18th birthday. Many clubs will not allow you to celebrate your 18th birthday until the day after. Those that do allow you to enter the bar are in violation of Ohio law and could be cited.
Coleman Coscia: AA... go, plus everyday for 2 years? noticed a weight gain too?
Kalyn Proietto: Drink water. Hangovers are caused because of dehydration... if you drink water before going to bed (at least one full glass), you will not feel like crap in the morning. I'm in the same boat as you... I drank a little too much and am in the process of drinking water right now lol... Goodluck!
Marion Wieboldt: Yeah id think so .. i Dont believe that it is medicaly prooven .. but yes if ur use to something so much that u will face withdrawls with out having it So yes u can
Merlin Fleischhacker: Your body must love tannins and/or sulfites. Red wine is the only thing that gives m! e a hangover. I can't even drink it!
Rachell Meese: Yes. Many ha! rdcore alcoholics experience withdrawal through detox. Many researchers also think that withdrawal after drinking is a cause for hangovers.
Alberto Kozub: It seems like you have a very high tolerance of alcohol. You have a marvelous gift. Go out and enjoy it, sir!
Davida Gisriel: Do not mix wines - and always have something to eat, as you drink - it is very "irregular" to drink wine out of meals as barbarian UK traders taught to the new world - try to restrict wine to meal time - and you'll enjoyPlus one extra-tip only for you - if the meal includes a salad, use oil ( olive oil is great ) - this will stop the nasty effects of too much wine...Show more
Barton Sease: I realize that you have to be 21 to drink/buy etc. And that in ohio, your Spouse/Parent/Legal guardian can buy you a beer as long as it's low-alcohol(4301.22). ***What i'm fuzzy on is the age to Sit at the bar.. Enter the bar.. If there's a band playing and they are getting marked at the door, a! ny difference from a regular night? Summit County. References, please... thanks!...Show more
Marita Stadick: First off: GOOD FOR YOU!! Yes, it's likely that this is from withdrawal. But please don't drink beer to make it go away. It's very likely that you're an alcoholic, my friend. Even if you don't think you need it emotionally, your body is physically addicted. Please go get some help to quit. Your liver deserves better. One awful day, when I was a social worker, I came to work to find that a client of mine had died from liver failure because he drank too much in his younger years. It's a toxin, really. If you need support or to talk out if you really need help then just email me and I'll do my best to help you....Show more
