Ervin Overbee: Well, you need to look at your interests or choose a new hobby.You could join a class and learn a new language or a skill. Language classes can be good if you all plan to spend a holiday in that country. We did Italian in night school and we used to go out for Italian meals, we also had lessons from the manager of a village pub, who was Italian and it turned out to be a great social group. You haven't disclosed your gender, so I have to generalise here. You could try learning a new skill to make yourself more desirable to know, such as decorating, plastering, Car maintenance, DIY, Gardening, Dressmaking, Artwork or painting for pleasure, cookery is a useful skill to have as everyone has to eat. Join an existing group, play skittles, darts or bowls in a team. Join a Sports Club or a gym. Are there any Facebook groups of your old school friends you could join? Volunteer for some good cause you are interested in and you coul! d find some like minded people....Show more
