Car Registration question look inside. (California)?

Ninfa Asby: California is very strict that if you "take a job" or "become a resident", then you must register the car. Also, if the car was not registered within 20 days after your arrival in CA (or the car's arrival in CA), then there are hundreds, or thousands, of dollars in late fees. If you are absolutely certain that no judge will ever say that you are resident and that you will not take a job in CA, then you may not need to register it. But if there is any remote doubt about your legal residency, then register the car to be on the safe side....Show more

Guy Bonamico: in california you have to have liability insurance, registration up to date, and a drivers license and you should be o k
