why is my car making this wierd noise?

Kenneth Blacker: With the engine running, the car parked with parking brake applied, raise the hood and listen for the clicking noise. If you hear it, splash some water onto the serpentine belt and see if the clicking noise goes away temporarily. Next, splash some water onto any other fan belt you see that may be making the clicking noise. Sometimes little stones get embedded in the serpentine belt and make a clicking noise.

Russ Kiernan: SCRAPYARD Where i'm from it's 10 cents a hundred now!!! Problem Solved

Amada Greising: Ugh... damn Chryslers. My best guess is your hub bearings might be starting to give out, but I can't say for sure till they are actually checked out.
